Time is Running Out Submit your Entry into the D.C. Drone Film Festival
As part of the National Drone Show December 7-8 in Washington D.C, Digital Video, Government Video, Drone Industry Update, and presenting sponsor Blackmagic Design are producing theD.C. Drone Film Festival to celebrate acclaimed domestic and international drone videographers.
We are accepting submissions of films captured by unmanned aircraft systems now, so submit yours today before entries close on November 4th. Share your work with fellow pilots, producers, equipment manufacturers, drone enthusiasts, and the 4,000 video, broadcast and AV professionals attending the National Drone Show and Government Video Expo.
Rules to Submit
Awards & Prizes
Create video not to exceed five minutes in length (or 1 minute in the shorts category)
Submission should consist of at least 50% drone footage
Submit in any (or all) of the six categories: Narrative; Nature; Sports; Architecture; Corporate/Industrial/Business; and Shorts. The festival is open to content filmed anywhere on the globe.
Entries will be evaluated on originality, technical expertise and cinematography/visuals.
Winners will receive $250 Cash Prize in each category
Winning videos will be screened throughout the 2016 National Drone Show in December
Entries will be evaluated on originality, technical expertise and cinematography/visuals. In addition to the winning videos being screened at the Drone Show, they will also be featured online across NewBay Media's network of broadcast and video sites. Entering this festival acknowledges that material will be used for these purposes.
