Aug. 26, 2015 WDBJ Gunman Condition Unconfirmed After Suicide Try Vester Flanagan, who fatally shot two WDBJ Roanoke journalists this morning, is reportedly in critical condition after shooting himself. News outlets are backing off on previous reports that Flanagan killed himself. WDBJ cited state police in initially reporting Flanagan's death, but later reported that he is alive.
