Why This Matters: BRG pulls no punches because they take pride in doing the math. Tidal is 800-something-th in downloads; Pandora and Spotify #3 and #4 respectively. Some even speculate that all the Tidal publicity actually helped Pandora and Spotify triumph over Candy Crush in the rankings for the first time ever. Still, BRG can also write things off too soon.
