Ofcom's timeline shows commercial deployment of 5G technology beginning in the early 2020s.

» Ericsson Granted License for 15 GHz Testing in Plano, Texas
Test will use two experimental 5G base stations and one piece of experimental 5G mobile user equipment.

» Globalstar Receives Experimental License for Terrestrial Low-Power Service on 2484 MHz
The 22 MHz bandwidth means the signal can extend from 2473 to 2495 MHz, potentially impacting broadcast auxiliary service channels A9 and A10.
