Introducing Wheatstone Series Four... Finally, an Affordable Pro Networked Console We’ve answered the need for a professional audio console for today’s automated television studio. The Series 4 is an entry-level professional console made to work with today’s production automation systems, yet has all the important broadcast-specific features, such as automatic studio muting, machine control logic, de-embedding inputs, 5.1 surround capability, balanced or unbalanced AES inputs, router integration, and flexible monitoring capability. This console has everything you need, and it won’t paint you into a corner should you ever want to expand the system without additional multi-format cards and network connected router frames. |

Introducing Wheatstone Dimension Three: Layers-Enabled Network Audio Console It’s the best of all worlds. Easy I/O layering and profiling of channels into any configuration on the surface. Plus, unlimited access to sources at any time, from anywhere and in just about any format from the network. It’s our new Dimension Three large-format television audio console. We’ve put mixing, I/O and processing where a modern IT network puts them: in distributed network I/O units unrestricted by tight spaces and limited access. And, we’ve included everything you need on the surface, right down to USB interfaces on the meter bridge so freelancers can bring in their USB Flash drives week after week or show after show for instant recall of console settings, configurations and layering preferences -- plus, audio files for the built-in audio clip player. We think out sleek new console looks pretty hot, too. |
Wheatstone audio consoles: Built for modern networking While traditional broadcast consoles have all functions built in their chassis, Wheatstone puts mixing, I/O, and processing where a modern IT network puts them, in a separate cage unconstrained by tight space and limited access. Better networking results... BETTER INTERNAL NETWORKING OF CONSOLE RESOURCES When I/O is managed through a rack unit, there are no limitations from fixed connection points on the console chassis. As a result, any channel can connect to any audio source, using your preferred audio standard, at any time. Modifying or upgrading I/O is as easy as swapping or adding cards in the router. If you need more I/O or redundant DSP, simply add the appropriate cards which are hot swappable. |
BETTER NETWORKING TO AUDIO SOURCES AND CONTROL SURFACES. IT’S NOT JUST A CONSOLE, IT’S A NETWORK. The Wheatstone control surface that resides in your control room is networked to its rack unit through a full access network that can be extended throughout your facility. If there are locations with multiple audio sources, you can connect them all to a satellite cage and pipe them all back to the main console through a single cable or through our latest IP audio technology. Plug additional control surfaces into the network and you will have immediate access to all audio sources. You are not just adding a console, you are adding it to a network. Wheatstone will be at the NAB show, in booth C3112 with some great new equipment. We look forward to seeing you! |
