 This Sunday marks 27 years since Alice in Chains released their milestone second album, Dirt, which features an iconic cover image photographed by Rocky Schenck. "It was [the band's] idea to have a nude woman, half-buried in the desert," Schenck told Revolver of the cover, adding ominously, "She could be either dead or alive."
