View this email in your browser March 2019 Features Pro Pedalboards 2019 From minimalist to monolithic: 16 boards from across the stylistic spectrum that wowed us during our last year of Rig Rundowns. Jeff Tweedy: The Lone Troubadour The renowned gear collector and Wilco frontman discusses making his new solo album, Warm, with a minimal setup: a '30s Martin, a '58 Esquire, and a Fender Princeton. Forgotten Heroes: Ron Asheton The guitar anti-hero who started the Stooges and changed the sound of rock 6-string's future, paving the way for … everything. Is Erik Rutan Death Metal's Renaissance Man? With ultra-high action, a scalding tone, a jackhammer rhythm hand, classical melody and dynamics, and mad production skills, the guitarist scales his personal "Mount Everest." Pedal Alley 2019: Reader Boards Whether it's collections of old-school straightforward stomps or elaborate circuits for spacey experimentation, each year we're blown away by the different pedalboard setups our readers come up with.  Listen to the March 2019 PG Spotify Playlist This month's playlist includes jams from Jeff Tweedy, Hate Eternal, Manchester Orchestra, Ron Asheton, and more.
