The Edge Playing Secrets A fixture in the Manhattan musical community, Vinnie DeMasi is well-known as a performer, lead guitarist-for-hire, educator and author. His Broadway pit-orchestra credits include Mamma Mia, Movin' Out, Jersey Boys and School of Rock. As lead guitarist with tribute bands such as White Wedding and U2 Nation, Vinnie has performed extensively throughout the US and has also worked with Jimmy Buffet and many other artists. Vinnie is a Mentor teacher and educator at the prestigious New York City Guitar School, where he has designed several curricula, including Intro to Classic Rock, Intro to Metal, Intermediate Acoustic Technique I & II, and Intro to Surf and Rockabilly. He taught the school's first rock ensemble class in 2006 and continues to lead several groups in their Adult Rock Band program.
