1 Beyond Collaborate AVS – Automatic Video Switching for Conferences and Distance Learning

Enhance meeting recordings or video conferences with close-ups of the active speaker. Collaborate AVS automatically selects the best camera angle to focus on the person speaking. Cameras are included along with the control system that can also record, stream and conference.

Up to 8 cameras can be positioned anywhere for flexibility in room size and configuration. Currently supported microphones include Shure ceiling arrays (MXA910), Shure tabletop microphones (DDS-5900, DCS-6000) and 1 Beyond Wireless Microphones .

Unique features include "side-by-side view" when two people are in conversation, the option to include a laptop feed with the video and integration with the 1 Beyond AutoTracker camera that can follow a presenter who is walking around.

Collaborate AVS can output to an external conferencing codec . Software such as Zoom, BlueJeans or Skype can be installed on the system for an all-in-one conferencing solution.

Collaborate AVS has been installed in boardrooms, courtrooms and classrooms.

Aurora Unveils The VLX Series

Aurora introduces a new AV industry first with its visually lossless, low latency, 1Gbps 4K AV over IP signal transceiver utilizing their IPBaseT® technology. The VLX Series is comprised of 3 variations. Two Wall plates (VLX-TCW2V-C, VLX-TCW2H-C) and a box version (VLX-TC1-C). Capable of 4K30 4:4:4, the VLX is low compression 8:1 with low latency 25ms to create a visually lossless image usable for digital signage, conference rooms, classrooms, houses of worship at a very reasonable cost. The VLX takes further advances with videowall modes of up to 8x8 and image rotation for portrait videowalls. All VLX units have a Dante® option to further increase the flexibility of the overall system. Another innovation is the preview capability allowing images of what is being encoded or decoded to be forwarded to a web page or application.
