Mediaproxy Unifies Broadcast Monitoring, Analysis and Compliance at NAB 2017
Melbourne, Australia, April, 2017 Mediaproxy, a provider of software-based broadcast and IP video solutions will be showcasing major updates to LogServer, Monwall, TSAnalyzer, LogPlayer and the Aircheck mobile app at NAB 2017. The comprehensive suite of MediaProxy software enables broadcast engineers to manage critical monitoring, analysis and compliance functions all in one place.
With live streaming to mobile devices rapidly increasing, Mediaproxy LogServer integrates real-time analysis and confidence monitoring of all stream sources. LogServer provides integrated live broadcast logging and monitoring of multiple sources including SDI, ASI/IP and OTT ABR streams. Supported television formats include SD, HD, and 4K UHD encoded in MPEG-2, H.264, and HEVC.
Mediaproxy is also introducing a new Aircheck mobile app which works in conjunction with LogServer and allows for real-time broadcast stream monitoring on iOS and Android devices. Aircheck offers broadcast engineers and executives access from anywhere to content sources, playout, and transmissions and is the first mobile app to support live multiview monitoring for viewing master control panels on smartphones and tablets. Aircheck is available via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The new version of Monwall now includes advanced data monitoring panels for real-time analysis and monitoring of TS sections, ETR290 ASI priority events, OTT streams, Closed Captions, DVB subtitles, digital program insertion triggers and loudness. LogServer software can be hosted locally on virtual machines or in the cloud.
Outgoing encoder streams and on-air CDN feeds can be monitored and analyzed in real-time including for Closed Captions, SCTE-104/35 and TS events using the TSAnalyzer and Monwall client applications. LogServer can also record live streams for long term archiving and offers compliance reviews via its advanced HTML5-based LogPlayer multichannel user interface.
