Tom Burns - Field CTO for Media & Entertainment, Dell EMC
Dell EMC's field CTO for Media & Entertainment, @TVBurns has previously re-engineered Technicolor's global file-based workflows, and developed HDR imaging solutions for episodic and feature post-production. He built a boutique VFX facility in Shanghai, and was the architect of the 77th fastest supercomputer worldwide for a 2006 CG animated feature. Prior to that, he designed and built Oxygen Media's (now NBC/Universal) storage and networking infrastructure in Manhattan's Chelsea Market. He is a founding member of the StudioSysAdmins networking site, and began his career at Silicon Graphics, Inc., developing Maya animation software and managing digital disk recorder products.

Sara Kudrle - Product Marketing Manager, Networking, Grass Valley
Sara Kudrle is the Product Marketing Manager Networking for Grass Valley, a Belden Brand. Sara received her Computer Science degree with a Minor in Mathematics from California State University Chico. Sara’s 17 plus years as an engineer in the Broadcast industry started at Tektronix within VideoTele.com. From there, she joined Continental Electronics, working within the TV Transmitter group where she was responsible for developing exciter control software. Next, she joined Miranda/NVISION within the Router Control group. Sara has authored several papers for NAB, PBS and SMPTE conferences and has been published in the SMPTE Motion Imaging Journal and Broadcast Engineering. Sara’s paper on "Fingerprinting for Solving A/V Synchronization Issues within Broadcast Environments,” received the 2012 Journal Award for best article. Sara is active within SMPTE serving on several committees and within the standards community and on the board of editors. Sara was the Western Region Governor for SMPTE, a SMPTE Fellow, recipient of the 2015 TVNewsCheck Technology Woman to Watch Award, and a member of IEEE.
