The cable portion of the Television Critics Association's Summer Tour got underway in earnest in Beverly Hills, Calif., over the weekend with presentations by HBO, Turner, Nat Geo, Pop and several other programmers. New HBO programming chief Casey Bloys was grilled about the sexualized violence against women in Game of Thrones and Westworld, while Turner exec Kevin Reilly had an easier time discussing the reinvention of TNT and TBS.
