London-based Post-production house Goldcrest Post Production's newly-opened Dean Street Theatre 1 is a purpose-built Dolby Atmos mixing theatre, which was recently outfitted with one of three Avid Pro Tools | S6 modular control surfaces that were supplied to the facility by Scrub, a division of HHB Communications.

A lot can happen in five years, and for principal songwriter Israel Nebeker, there was much to reflect on—including the end of a long-term relationship and the death of his father. The resulting recording, produced by Tucker Martine [My Morning Jacket, Neko Case], is a masterful quilt of songs dealing with reconciliation and courage. Pro Sound News spoke to Nebeker about the vast emotional spectrum of the new album, and the victory of having completed it.
