The Diversity Awards in TV & Video luncheon celebrates the contributions of individual executives, on-air talent and producers within the multicultural TV business.  Awards are presented by celebrities in 12 different categories. The Awards are followed by an afternoon program of panel discussions and breakout sessions that address the continued growth and sustainability of the business of multicultural TV and video.

FAQs
Who is eligible to be nominated?
The Diversity Awards in Television and Video are given in celebration of executives who are acknowledged to be leaders in the business of multicultural TV and have contributed to the sustained viability of this particular business segment. Nominees must be actively working in media and be able to accept the award in person at the ceremony on December 5, 2016 in New York City.
May I submit an entry by mail?
No, entries are only accepted via the submission form.
How are entries judged?
Award recipients are selected through a confidential scoring process by a panel of distinguished individuals who are recognized for their commitment to diversity, as well as the publisher of Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News, key editors and the event producer, Schramm Marketing Group.
Can I nominate myself?
Yes!
When is the deadline for nominations?
Deadlines must be received by close of business on September 1, 2016 to be eligible.
When will the winners be notified?
Judging will take place in September and individual winners will be notified on or about October 1, 2016.
When and where are the awards being presented?
Awards will be presented during a luncheon ceremony at The Diversity Discussion, Monday, December 5, 2016 at Convene Conference Center, 730 Third Avenue, New York City.
What information must I provide on the nomination form?
In addition to the nominee's contact information, company info, job title, etc. there are five additional required questions:

1. How many years in the business of TV and video for diverse audiences?
2. Is the nominee responsible for generating revenue? If yes, in which area?
3. What role does the nominee play in TV and Video for diverse audiences?
4. Why should the judges consider your nominee?
5. Tell us about one incident or project that demonstrates this nominee's abilities and accomplishments in supporting the viability and growth of the multiethnic TV business.
