This is a really interesting and modern take on semi-hollow construction. The guitar has two moulded wood veneers that cap off an aluminum frame, to which the bridge and neck are both mounted. I noticed that this guitar has the spank and resonance of a semi-hollow, but the sustain doesn't suffer like it does on most hollowbody guitars, I think because of the frame. The BKP Juggernaut set pairs absolutely wonderfully with the guitar and he pickup selector is touch-sensitive, I haven't really ever seen anything like it before!
