| | Movers & Shakers | • Telemundo Studios has promoted two executives in its management team. Perla Farias has been named senior vice president, scripted development, from vice president of novela development at Telemundo. Carmen Urbaneja was upped to senior vice president, scripted productions, from vice president, novela production, at Telemundo Studios. They are part of the studios' new senior management structure, reporting into Telemundo president Luis Silberwasser. • Freddy Rolón has succeeded the recently departed Lino Garcia as vice president and general manager of ESPN Deportes. Rolón reports to Russell Wolff, executive vice president and managing director of ESPN International. Rolón was previously VP of programming and business initiatives at ESPN Deportes, a role he had held since 2011. • Elio Aguilar has been appointed general manager of Media Vista Group’s Univision affiliate KUKC in Kansas City, Mo. In his new role, Aguilar will oversee all sales and management responsibilities for the company in the market, one of the fastest-growing Hispanic DMAs in the nation. Aguilar was formerly VP of integrated marketing solutions for Entravision’s Orlando, Fla., cluster. |
