 Dielectric's DCR-U antenna features a pressurized point and 4-inch balun, designed to handle the high powers and voltages associated with combined multi-station operation. The broadband quadrupole design provides excellent circularity for both the horizontal and vertical polarizations while maintaining an equal H/V ratio, important for mobile reception. The "U" series antenna has a power rating of 40kW per bay and is available is arrays up to 12 bays. For situations where ice formation is common, the arrays can be equipped with optional electrical deicers or radomes. Beam tilt and null fill are available in arrays of six bays or more.
