Why This Matters: This is very subjective and unscientific. In my opinion, the way to find the best smartphone camera is to look at the data—not megapixels, but the size of the sensor and size of the lens aperture. That's just the law of capture—you can't reproduce what you didn't capture. Having said that, this writer did a pretty exhaustive experiment, which he documents well.
