A-T's 'Recording Basics' YouTube Channel Provides a Broad Range of Recording Tips
With the recent addition of 10 new instructional videos, Audio-Technica's YouTube channel now offers a playlist of 30 "Recording Basics" videos that help you select and position microphones to capture the best sound from voice and instruments. The new videos include tips for miking banjo, Dobro, mandolin, piano, saxophone and other woodwind and string instruments. They join 20 previously posted videos for recording vocals, guitar, percussion and drums, giving users a well-rounded video series with proven recording techniques.
"We feel with this final installment, A-T has created a comprehensive guide to microphone basics for virtually any application," says Audio-Technica Marketing Director Gary Boss. "You don't need to be a beginner to learn tips from the 'basics' videos – there's something there for all skill levels."
The videos can be viewed in two playlists: the complete 30-video Recording Mic Techniques, Tips & Tricks playlist and a separate 10-video list focused on Drum Mic Basics.
