KMC Music Opens New Corporate Headquarters
Calling it the start of the next great chapter in its proud history of serving the MI and pro audio industries, KMC Music announced on June 11 that it has completed its transition from Fender Musical Instruments to JAM Industries ownership with the opening of a new corporate headquarters in Bloomfield, Connecticut; the relocation of its warehousing and distribution to the JAM Industries operations center in Southaven, Mississippi; and the implementation of new credit and order processing systems based in JAM Industries' Montreal, Canada, headquarters.

Roland Professional A/V Division Holds Two-Day Dealer Training Event
Roland's Professional A/V division recently held a two-day training event for the new M-5000 Live Digital Mixing Console at CenterStaging rehearsal studio in Burbank, California. The hands-on training was designed to equip Roland's independent U.S. sales network, along with Pro A/V sales teams from Latin America and Canada, with in-depth knowledge of the M-5000's design and operation to support end users in the field.
 
Recording Industry Golf Tournament Adds Sponsors
Sponsors are rapidly joining in support of the 2015 Recording Industry Golf Tournament (RIGT), which will be held Monday, June 29, 2015, at MountainGate Country Club, in L.A., with the shotgun start at 12 noon. Harman JBL Professional PD500 Series Loudspeaker
At InfoComm 2015, Harman's JBL Professional is introducing its new PD500 Series loudspeakers. An extension of the PD Series loudspeakers, which are found in the most prestigious stadiums and arenas around the world, the PD500 Series will feature five new models and will offer the high power, excellent pattern control and smooth coverage found in all PD Series loudspeakers. The PD500 Series can be used in a variety of applications including sports facilities, performance spaces, auditoriums or worship facilities.
 
AKG DMS800 Wireless Microphone System
At InfoComm 2015, AKG by Harman is showcasing its DMS800 reference digital wireless microphone system. The DMS800 features two digital audio outputs for Dante and AES/EBU, along with improved design and mechanics for the DHT800 handheld transmitter, plus interchangeable microphone heads. In addition to the DHT800 transmitter, the DMS800 system includes the DSR800 stationary receiver and the DPT800 wireless bodypack transmitter.
 
Yamaha Rio 64-Input/Output Rack
The new RSio64-D I/O audio interface will make its InfoComm 2015 debut at the Yamaha Professional Audio booth #727. The new interface provides up to 64 inputs and 64 outputs with Dante/Mini-YGDAI card conversion for broadcast, recording, live sound, and other professional audio applications.
 
Danley Sound Labs DNA Amplifiers and Processors
Danley Sound Labs, maker of innovative loudspeakers and subwoofers for professional sound reinforcement applications, announces a new series of British-made amplifiers and processors. Named the Danley DNA (Danley Networkable Amplifier) Series, the introductory lineup includes the DNA 5k4c (1,250 watts per channel), the DNA 10k4 Pro (2,500W per channel), the DNA 20k4 Pro (50,00W per channel), and the DNA SC48 (4x8 matrix processor). All the amplifiers feature four independent channels, each with its own input, and all the DNA units are network-ready out of the box and fully support the Dante digital audio protocol.
 
SSL Version 3 Software for Live Consoles
Solid State Logic, the world's leading manufacturer of tools for creative audio professionals, is presenting the SSL Live console range with new V3 software, which introduces more than 40 software and hardware features, at InfoComm 2015 (Booth 579). Additionally, the L500 now becomes the L500 Plus, increasing from 192 mix paths to 256, with a doubling of Effects processing power, depending on the effects selected.
 
Professional Wireless Systems Intermodulation Analysis Software Version 5
Professional Wireless Systems (PWS), a Masque Sound Company, announces the release of its updated Intermodulation Analysis Software (IAS) Version 5 at InfoComm 2015 (Booth 149). IAS is a complete frequency management tool designed to help coordinators quickly choose the best frequencies for each specific wireless system and tuning range.

Sunburst Gear in Los Angeles announces the M6BR8 six-channel portable monitor speaker system ($499.99). Designed and assembled in the U.S., the M6BR8 from Sunburst Gear is a high-fidelity reference monitor speaker system in a compact package. The bi-amplified design features a 5.25-inch speaker paired with a 1-inch tweeter.
