Hulu to Offer Showtime Bundle
Hulu has struck a deal to bundle in Showtime's streaming service on top of its regular over-the-top subscription offering in "early July"; new and existing Hulu subscribers will continue to pay $7.99 per month for the baseline OTT subscription service plus an additional $8.99 per month for Showtime. more

Cablevision Raises 'Flagship' Internet Tier Speed
Cablevision Systems said it has increased the max downstream speed of its "core" Optimum Online high-speed Internet tier from 15 Mbps to 25 Mbps, a move that also happens to put it in line with the FCC's new definition of broadband. more
Cable Ops to FCC: Dish, DirecTV Should Pay More
In a joint filing at the Federal Communications Commission, the American Cable Association and the National Cable & Telecommunications Association said satellite's 2015 fee of 12 cents per subscriber is not enough, given that cable operators will have to pay eight times that, or about 95 cents per subscriber. more
David Hill to Leave 21st Century Fox
Longtime Fox employee David Hill, who has served as senior executive vice president for 21st Century Fox and as chairman of National Geographic Channels U.S., will step down in July to launch a production company, Hilly, which will be backed by the programmer. more
