Mediacom Re-Ups With Viacom

Mediacom Communications and Viacom said they signed a renewal to carry the programmer's 19 national networks and premium service Epix, days before the contract was set to run out. Terms were not disclosed, but Mediacom will get more free VOD content and expanded functionality for verified in-home and out-of-home TV-everywhere viewing. more

Charter to Add TWC's Dodgers Network
Charter Communications, which has deals in place to buy Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks, plans to add TWC's SportsNet LA, the network that carries Los Angeles Dodgers games but hasn't been seen on major pay TV distributors in Southern California other than TWC and BHN. more
