Meet WheatNet-IP Audio Networking... At NAB 2015, we will be demonstrating our WheatNet-IP Audio Networking system (and a couple of incredible new consoles). More than just an IP network that routes audio within a TV facility, it is a full system that combines a complete audio tool kit, an integrated control layer, and a distributed intelligent network that takes full advantage of IP audio. Complete Audio Toolkit gives you everything you need to create and manage IFBs, Mix Minuses, and salvos on the fly or have them completely programmed. It provides built-in utility mixers, a clip player, auto mono summing, HD-SDI de-embedding and much, much more. Distributed Intelligent Network Management Tools provide a distributed network that allows access to audio sources wherever they are with no central 'brain' needed. It's AES 67 compatible so it'll play nice – even with audio from less-equipped networks. And it will back up your entire network.
