Interfaces to and bridges between disparate network and transport protocols are proliferating and file-based workflows are now standard operating procedure. TV TECHNOLOGY» Ross Video Promotes Solutions and Workflows A complete virtual and augmented reality production studio shows how VS/AR can enhance productions while reducing cost. TVB EUROPE» NAB Exhibitor Viewpoint — Digigram President and CEO Philippe Delacroix on significant trends: "On the audio side, it is definitively Ravenna/AES67, since this standard facilitates the migration from legacy synchronous audio toward a pure AoIP studio infrastructure. On the video side we see HEVC video compression as a real market driver for remote broadcasting and OTT." RADIO WORLD» Vizrt to Highlight Fifth-Generation MAM System Vizrt will show the new functionality and integrations for version 5.7 of its media asset management system, Viz One. TV TECHNOLOGY» Wheatstone Works With Eventide Wheatstone and Eventide have worked together to make Eventide's BD600 broadcast delay compatible with the WheatNet-IP network in the form of a dedicated unit, the BD600W. RADIO WORLD» Datavideo to Unveil Slate of Products Datavideo will be showing two new video switchers. First, the SE-700 is a four input HD video switcher with features like dual chromakey, lumakey, downstream keying, PIP, clip storage and a control panel. TV TECHNOLOGY» Enterprise for iMediaTouch OMT Technologies has launched iMediaTouch Enterprise, the latest iteration of its iMediaTouch automation system, which incorporates a new SQL-based content management system and new customizable on-air user interface. RADIO WORLD» NAB Show: Transmission Preview While TV is still viewed on your television set using multiple distribution methods, it's also available on other screens as well. Distribution is the key, and a lot of that still requires transmission. TV TECHNOLOGY» Crown Broadcast Offers Upgrades to Crown E-Series The company says it has made upgrades to its Crown E-Series product line, renaming the Crown E-250 as the Crown E-300.
