The Audio Engineering Society is set to host its 57th International Conference on Friday, March 6 Sunday, March 8, 2015, in Hollywood, California, at the world famous TCL Chinese 6 Theatres. Titled "The Future of Audio Entertainment Technology Cinema, Television, and the Internet," the Conference will serve as the AES's first Hollywood Conference to take an exclusive focus on audio creation, production, and distribution for cinema, low-frequency management, immersive and 3-D audio, object-based workflow and other topics of relevance for the sound for picture community. Co-chaired by Brian McCarty and Dr. Sean Olive, the 57th Conference will feature 3 three days of papers, workshops, and presentations from the leaders in entertainment audio. The Conference will also feature a keynote speech by Avid Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer Louis Hernandez Jr. at 4:00PM on opening day.
