FCC Passes "Net Neutrality" Rules
The commissioners voted on the controversial, so-called "Net Neutrality" issue and the pre-emption of state broadband laws as they relate to municipalities within those states. The 3–2 votes followed party lines, with the three Democrats voting for expanding or clarifying the regulations and the GOP commissioners opposed.
