Controlling and Monitoring Studio Displays

Controlling and Monitoring Studio Displays

Addressing the challenges of content creation, management and distribution for studio.

Based in Atlanta, the Weather Channel decided to build a new studio for some of their flagship shows. The studio design was based on multiple studio displays in different sizes, aspect ratios and shapes. The Weather Channel looked for a solution that will drive the content of those displays and will flawlessly integrate with their existing infrastructure. Orad's TD Control studio display control was selected, and provides the Weather Channel with control for all their studio displays. A single Weather Channel operator can now easily manage the content distribution to all of the studio's displays regardless of aspect ratio, orientation, resolution and shape, from a single user interface.

As TD Control integrates with all commonly used video mixers, routers, video servers, newsrooms and more, it assimilates easily into The Weather Channel's existing workflow and even enhances it.

TD Control provides The Weather Channel with a holistic system that can handle effortlessly their entire production environment well beyond their expectations.
