We were saddened to learn this morning of the passing of Leonard Nimoy, as reported by The New York Times, at age 83. The actor best known for playing the half-Vulcan, half-human, Mr. Spock on Star Trek also released five albums as a recording artist, and several episodes of the original Star Trek series revealed a musical side of his character. Therefore, we find it a fitting tribute to post this incredible re-harmonization and improvisation on the original series' theme by pianist Glen Stewart, recorded at NAMM 2012 at the exhibit room of Estonia pianos. We hope you relish it as much as we. Live long and prosper.
