The global smart-watch market will grow at a compound average rate of 96.8 percent from 2014 through 2019 for a 13-fold gain from 2014 levels, putting smart watches on the wrists of more than 10 percent of the world's population, ReportsnReports found.
Google has stopped selling its Glass headset around the world, in a move that many have interpreted as an admission of failure, but the search giant's investment in augmented reality eyewear is far from over. The company will continue to invest in its Glass at Work offering for enterprise developers and companies, and plans to release future versions of Glass "when they're ready".
