Minn. Hall of Fame Broadcaster Dies at 88 (Republican Eagle) George Brooks, station owner and broadcaster in Minnesota and North Dakota, passed away last week. His career ran from the 1940s to the 1980s, when he sold his group to Sorenson Broadcasting. He was involved with the Minnesota Broadcasters Association and the NAB.
