NewBay Media announced the winners of the second annual Product Innovation Awards, honoring outstanding product introductions that serve TV, professional video and broadcast/online radio users. The PIA program recognizes excellence in manufacturing of products to serve the TV, professional video and broadcast/online radio markets. Nominations were submitted by manufacturers, who paid a fee to enter. Winners were selected by a panel of professional users and will be featured in TV Technology, Digital Video, Creative Planet Network, Government Video, Video Edge, Radio World and Radio magazines. iHeartRadio Announces New Integrations
This will add to platform's growing list of supported devices across Web, mobile phones, tablets, automotive, smart TVs, gaming consoles and more. It will be one of the first apps available on the new Google Cast for Audio, which embeds the same technology behind Chromecast into speakers, sound bars, and A/V receivers. More»

Rdio Expands Presence
Bosch has incorporated Rdio into its mySPIN platform for its dashboard, and Apple's InControl Apps platform puts Rdio in Jaguar and Land Rover infotainment systems. As part of the initial rollout, Rdio is accessible to subscribers of the unlimited music service in Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles where InControl Apps is installed, and Rdio's free Internet radio solution will be integrated later this year.
