Time-sharing and settlement agreements in the Northeast markets for LPFMs are due Dec. 4 while major technical amendments that involve change in channel or location are due Dec. 8.

"Franken FM" Issue Alive in LPTV NPRM
On the other hand, the issue of so-called "Franken FMs" continues because as part of a third Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, the agency is reviewing whether to permit digital LPTV stations to operate analog FM radio-type services on an ancillary or supplementary basis.

Rodger Kent Vogel Passes Away (Pavek Museum of Broadcasting)
Well-known in the Twin Cities, Rodger Kent started in radio in the late 1940s and moved to Minnesota in 1950 where he achieved fame on radio and TV. He passed away last week at the age of 90.
