Why This Matters: The cluster continues with my personal tax dollars at work (as an LA resident and middle school parent). Last year the local DA decided there was no crime; now a federal grand jury will get a shot at it. Meanwhile, the program has been on/off/renewed/cancelled/back out to bid, and now augmented with Chromebooks. Our controversial school superintendent resigned in October and may yet go to jail; the school board advisor who had been fired for predicting this mess was quietly reinstated under the LAUSD "I told you so" protocol. -Cynthia Wisehart |
