#1 GoPro To Further Integrate Social Media, Platform Services In 2015
According to Digitimes research, the slowing rate of GoPro shipments in 2014 has the action video camera inventor looking to further integrate social media sharing services while asking more of specialized components vendors to enhance video recording experiences in 2015. (Digitimes)
Why This Is Important: GoPro was an industry growth leader in 2014, but its camera shipments were estimated to reach 4 million to 4.5 million, up 17 percent on year, compared with a 66 percent gain on-year in 2013 at 3.85 million.

#2 Apple Considering Return To 4-inch Form Factor In 2015 With 'iPhone 6s Mini'
Analyst Timothy Arcuri of Cowen and Company issued a note to investors this week claiming that Apple has been working on a new 4-inch iPhone model that could debut in 2015. A copy of the note was provided to AppleInsider. (Apple Insider)
Why This Is Important: It is speculated that this iPhone Mini could replace the 5c. Also, although the display may be smaller, it's thought that Apple will move toward a curved screen.

#3 Taiwan, China Notebook Vendors Halt Notebook Sales In Russia
The free-falling Russian currency has forced Taiwanese and Chinese notebook manufacturers Asustek Computer, Acer, Micro-Star International (MSI), and Gigabyte Technology and Lenovo to stop selling their notebooks in the country. (Digitimes)
Why This Is Important: Since the most popular exports to Russia were high-end and gaming models, the stoppage is expected to put pressure on the companies' bottom lines.
