#1 Black Friday Rage, From Ferguson To Walmart
Walmart reported another good Black Friday this year, drawing millions into a euphoric weekend of shopping. And, as corporate communications boasted, hardly anyone noticed the handful of agitators outside who tried to disrupt the fete with their protests. The full staffing at stores showed "our associates are excited to be there for our customers at this special time, and they are not joining in made-for-TV demonstrations in any meaningful way." (The Nation)
Why This Is Important: Most protestors acknowledged their efforts were merely symbolic actions, and although they drew media attention, they didn't stem the swell of shoppers who weren't letting anything get in the way of their deals.

#2 Roku, Chromecast, Fire TV Roar Into The Booming "Streaming Stick" Market This Holiday Season
The "streaming stick" market will be a crowded one this holiday season, with offerings from Roku, Google, and Amazon all competing for consumers' wallets. (Science Recorder)
Why This Is Important: The three main contenders of the streaming-stick market will jockey for first position this holiday season. With some confusion surrounding the individual benefits of each device, will consumers simply stick with which one carries the lowest price?

#3 Amazon Claims Black Friday E-reader & Fire Tablet Sales Boon, And Knocks 30% Off Fire TV
Amazon has announced something of a Black Friday sales boon for its flagship Kindle e-reader and Fire tablet. (VentureBeat)
Why This Is Important: The e-tailer said it sold four times as many Kindles as last year.
