Why This Matters: This is a real thing. It's the interactive "scent globe" exhibit at Heathrow's luxurious new Terminal 2. From the looks of the picture, it doesn't seem like they went for authenticity. Thinking now of Korean kimchi, and buses in France, New York in the summer, and India generally. Why This Matters: Here's a link to the Collaborative Environment programming. Wednesday's session on Huddle Rooms is based on excellent Frost & Sullivan research on the need for spaces that bridge between desktop collaboration and full conference rooms. That's just one of the Collaborative programs. On Thursday, I'll also single out the presentation by Altinex founder Jack Gershfeld, about using low voltage to power displays.
