AES to Host 57th International Conference on the Future of Audio Entertainment Technology The Audio Engineering Society is set to host its 57th International Conference from Friday, March 6, through Sunday, March 8, 2015, in Los Angeles at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood, with hotel accommodations across the street at the historic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. New Campus for SAE Los Angeles To Occupy Former Hollywood Home of Eastman Kodak The Los Angeles campus of SAE Institute, one of America's premier creative media colleges, will occupy the former Hollywood offices of the Eastman Kodak Company on Santa Monica Boulevard at Las Palmas Avenue. According to the Los Angeles Times, "the two-building complex dates to the early days of the movie industry". Sweetwater Studios Adds API Modules Sweetwater Studios in Fort Wayne, Indiana, has been a destination for complete production services for more than 35 years, serving as a commercial studio for Grammy Award-winning artists, independent singer/songwriters, and bands and solo artists of every genre. In an effort to offer a warm, classic sound to its high-profile clients including Garth Brooks, Ricky Martin, and Sara Bareilles, the studio has just completed a major module overhaul with API gear. Bob Bullock Opens New Carl Tatz Design MixRoom in Nashville Multiple award-winning engineer/producer and educator Bob Bullock chose the TEC Award-Winning firm Carl Tatz Design (CTD) for a third time to design his latest studio, Cool Springs Mix. Retrofitted into a former unused above-garage family room and study, it is Bullock's most expansive studio space to date.
