FCC's Spectrum Price List Has Many Licensees Doing The Math
Broadcasters are looking at their balance sheets, now that the FCC has issued its "price list" for the "maximum" and "median" values to be paid for stations that relinquish their licenses in the incentive spectrum auction now scheduled to begin in 2016.

Class A Told to 'Show Cause' or be Demoted to LPTV Status
A Southern California Class A TV station's been told to show cause why it should retain its status or be busted down to LPTV status. The FCC issued the Order today to KVER-CA in Indo, Calif., a Class A licensed to Entravision of Santa Monica, Calif.

FCC Releases Real-time Component of Repacking Software
A crucial component of the software for repacking TV stations after the spectrum incentive auction has been released by the FCC. The constraint generator software comes up with "pairwise" files that predict interference between stations.
