| | A Special First Impressions Recliner for Special Needs
 Designed for an integrator's client this custom built CineLounger addressed difficulties attempting to maneuver from a wheel chair to a standard recliner chair. Using his upper body strength the customer could not lift himself from his wheel chair over a standard recliner arm to access the seat cushion. Moving into the chair from the front was impossible as the wheel chair gets in the way. Access had to be from the arm side.
As the client could drive a car and slide from his wheel chair to his bed, First Impressions Theme Theatres developed a unique recliner with a special arm that opens out just like a car door. This allowed the customer to roll his wheel chair to the side of the chair, open the hinged roller wheel arm back 90 degrees and slide directly from his wheel chair on to the CineLounger seat using only his arms. And as the client had limited use of his fingers, a custom control switch was crafted and installed onto of the arm cap for easier access. The seat height on the special purpose CineLounger was also altered to align with the wheel chair seat for a seamless transition from wheel chair to CineLounger.
First Impressions Theme Theatres CineLounger Motion Seating Collection is a total custom line of proprietary private cinema motion seating products. The company many times is commissioned to design and build custom one off special purpose designs.
