The 2015 Escalade joins the ranks of Cadillac models to launch HD Radio Technology. It joins the ATS, CTS, ELR, SRX, and XTS models that already offer HD Radio digital AM and FM. The 2015 Cadillac is now available at dealerships in the United States. HD Radio Technology is or will soon be available as a factory installed feature from 35 major automotive brands, and there are currently over 2,000 AM and FM radio stations broadcasting with HD Radio technology, in addition to 1,500 additional digital-only FM HD2/HD3 multicast channels. | | More Convention News | AM and Hybrid Radio Among Topics at the 2014 Radio Show Technology Program
The 2014 Radio Show Technology Program, produced by NAB Labs in cooperation with the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE), will address developments in AM and hybrid radio among other technology and engineering issues impacting Radio. The Radio Show, held Sept. 10-12, in Indianapolis, is produced by the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) and the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB). The 2014 Radio Show will include an NAB Labs presentation on the latest news from the field as testing continues on AM stations nationwide. These results, along with accompanying laboratory tests, will determine the feasibility of an all-digital future for AM broadcasters. More » |
