First BlackMagic URSA 4K Footage Posted Online​
DP John Brawley has posted what appears to be the first BlackMagic URSA footage online. The 4K URSA was introduced at NAB 2014, and won a TV Technology Best of Show award. The URSA was notable for having a swappable sensor, camcorder form factor, a 10-inch 1080p display and 60 fps 4K capture—for $6,000.

Neilson reports that 30 million consumers watch television content through their smartphones, and according to Mobile-Marketer, The Weather Channel gets 600 to 700 percent higher click-through rates on mobile display ads when compared to desktop banners.

SEC Network to Debut Thursday at 6 p.m.
The new TV network featuring sports coverage of the Southeast Conference schools is launching this week. The SEC Network will light up Aug. 14 at 6 p.m., according to ESPN, the SEC's media partner. The network will debut with its flagship news and information show "SEC Now" live from all 14 SEC campuses. Sports of all seasons will be showcased in the three-hour special.
