On Saturday, August 16, 2014, the Television Academy presented the 2014 Creative Arts Emmy Awards for programs and individual achievements at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles. This first ceremony of the 66th Emmy Awards honored guest performers on television dramas and comedy series, as well as the technical disciplines essential to television production. Mix magazine recognizes and congratulates all of the individual winners in three categories of Sound Editing and five categories of Sound Mixing.
Atlanta Mixer/Engineer Miles Walker

The Blackbird Academy in Nashville, a premier Studio and Live Sound Engineering School, has recently installed and integrated the Roland M-48 Personal Mixing System into their program. The M-48 mixers are used every day in Studio I at The Blackbird Academy. The studio is built around a Beatle theme, and like Abbey Road, the control room for Studio I is on the second floor. |
