An added feature includes the A/B option; in a live mixing situation, this can be a lifesaver if an engineer has a performer who is playing acoustic guitar for part of the set but then switches to a ukulele using the same direct line. The A/B option allows EQ and Dynamics settings for one instrument on A and another instrument on B, enabling switching between the two without needing another input channel. At Winston-Salem's Underground Theatre, this became a key feature. Many of the events are songwriter nights where a variety of performers would use the same input for their acoustic instruments. For the first time, fans will have a real time, behind-the-scenes glimpse of the creative process as THE CHOIR lays down tracks in front of a live audience. The band will play two hometown shows that will be streamed live from a studio in Nashville to TheChoir.net. Marshall, MXL, and StreamVu are providing the hardware and technical support to stream the shows. Russ Long will record the performances for the CD to be released later this year. The Choir's live performances of new album Shadow Weaver will be live streamed on July 26 at 6 pm and 8:30 pm Central Time at www.TheChoir.net and www.MXLmics.com. More »
