Mersive Solstice

Looking for an easy to use, affordable solution to wirelessly connect laptops and mobile devices to the displays in your meeting rooms or classrooms?

Solstice software from Mersive is a transformative product that not only connects an unlimited number of laptops and mobile devices to any display (projector, flat panel or video wall) over the existing WiFi or Ethernet network – it also does so much more.

Solstice display software runs on a standard Windows computer and uses the existing corporate or university network. It is compatible with laptops and mobile devices running Windows, Android, OSX or iOS. There is no special hardware to purchase, and there are no special network requirements. Solstice uses standard TCP/IP protocols to transport pixels to the screen. Documents, applications, images, videos can all be shared via Solstice. Because it runs like other network applications, it also enables centralized IT management of all Solstice displays from a remote location.

Symetrix SymNet Composer 2.0 Software

In a significant development for users of Audinate's Dante audio networking technology, the latest version of Symetrix popular SymNet Composer open architecture software will support native configuration of select Dante-enabled Attero Tech and Stewart Audio products.

Integrators will no longer need Audinate's Dante Controller as well as separate software packages for each manufacturer's products. Supported Attero Tech and Stewart Audio Dante-enabled products can now be configured and managed right alongside SymNet DSP hardware. Integrators who have used Composer before will have no learning curve.

The partnership is "the next logical step" in the interoperability of Dante networked audio systems. Dante is rapidly becoming a default choice for all manner of projects in the installed environment. The Dante-centric partnership between Symetrix, Attero Tech and Stewart Audio will be warmly welcomed as it helps to bring every consultant and integrator's dream of blanket interoperability and seamless integration that much closer to reality.

Audio-Technica Table-mount Microphone Devices with Switch and LED Functionality

Audio-Technica introduces ES945/LED Omnidirectional and ES947/LED Cardioid Condenser Boundary Microphones, providing clear, highly intelligible audio that is perfect for video conference, teleconferencing, audio recording, and other demanding sound pickup applications. Each mic is protected by a rugged, all-metal case with a dual-layer steel mesh grille, and features a low-profile design that allows it to be mounted unobtrusively in a tabletop. Users can locally mute and un-mute each microphone thanks to a capacitive-type touch-sensitive switch; the bicolor LED indicator that encircles the grille alerts user to audio status — it glows green when live and turns red when muted. These phantom-powered mics are equipped with a 3-pin XLRM output and boast UniGuard® RFI-shielding technology for outstanding rejection of radio frequency interference. Both models are available in black and silver.
