Until Thursday, June 5, NewBay Media is accepting submissions for the first annual Best of Show Awards, honoring outstanding products exhibited at the InfoComm Show. Awards will be given by NewBay Media publications Sound & Video Contractor, AV Technology, Digital Signage, ProSound News, ProAudio Review, Mix, Music Festival Business, and Government Video magazines. The program recognizes outstanding products exhibited at the InfoComm Show that are new since the prior InfoComm Show. Winners are selected by panels of professional users and editors based on descriptions provided by you via the nomination form as well as on judges' inspection at the convention. You may submit a product for consideration by one or more of these publications, and you may submit multiple products. More »

PreSonus CTO Bob Tudor, 1967-2014
As published on May 26, 2014 in The Star-Ledger newspaper in New Jersey: "Robert James 'Bob' Tudor, 47, a pioneer and legend in the audio/MI industry, died Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, N.J., after a brave seven-year battle with metastatic colon cancer." Along with PreSonus CSO Jim Odom, Tudor developed the strategic direction of the company's innovative products and technologies. PreSonus CEO Jim Mack says, "Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of working with Bob, or even interacting with him at events or trade shows, was likely touched by his energy, enthusiasm, and passion for technology…"

Live-Link Mini Remote Camera Interface System from Studio Technologies (starting $6,490) is a highly integrated and powerful camera extender system with a choice of two 1RU truck units and a compact camera unit that weighs only 3.6 pounds.
