Multilingual EAS Comments Now Due in May
Broadcasters and others will have more time to weigh in on the concept of multilingual EAS. The FCC has pushed back the deadlines one month to file public comments to May 28 and replies to June 12.

U.S. Local Media Ad Revenues to Grow to $158.6B in 2018
Market research firm BIA/Kelsey predicts local media advertising revenues will climb from $133.2 billion in 2013 to $158.6 billion in 2018. That represents a compound annual growth rate of 3.6%, according to the company. Digital ad spending will represent an increased proportion.
