Lectrosonics, Inc. L Series 'Large Bandwidth' Line of Wireless Microphones

Lectrosonics announces the L Series 'Large Bandwidth' line of wireless microphones, with all models featuring Digital Hybrid Wireless® technology. The new LMb and LT beltpack transmitters tune over a 75 MHz range, include all-metal housings, 25 or 100 kHz tuning steps, and an integrated multi-function switch. The LT transmitter additionally has a high power setting at 100 mW and features remote command response from either the dedicated Lectrosonics RM remote unit or smartphone app. The ultra-compact LR receiver is designed with the utmost portability in mind. The receiver's wide 75 MHz tuning bandwidth with tracking front-end filters provides plenty of flexibility while avoiding the vulnerabilities of wider pass bands. Tuning steps are user selectable at 25 or 100 kHz, while dual antenna diversity improves range and resistance to dropouts. The RF spectrum analyzer and SmartTune capability make quick work of finding clean frequencies on site.

DPA d:screet™ Necklace Microphone

DPA Microphones (Booth C3333) is presenting for the first time its new d:screet™ Necklace Microphone, which is currently being used in the Danish adaptation of Big Brother. With this mic, audio techs don't have to worry about how to attach it to clothing — even beach scenes aren't a problem. Featuring DPA's legendary d:screet 4061 Omnidirectional Miniature Capsule in a soft rubber necklace, the d:screet Necklace Mic is especially convenient for instances when mounting and consistent audio output are the primary requirements. The mic offers fast, repeatable, "do-it-yourself" mounting and is designed specifically for use by non-technicians. The d:screet Necklace Mic comes in black, white and brown and in a lengths of either 18.3 or 20.9 inches. The d:screet Necklace Microphone is clearly meeting a need for a mic that can be mounted and removed quickly, and several times, by untrained talent without a sound expert nearby.
