Vodafone Germany Test Live LTE Broadcast
Vodafone Germany has conducted what are being described as the first live tests of LTE broadcast by a European wireless carrier. The trial was done in collaboration with Ericsson, Qualcomm and Samsung.

Sony Unveils 4K-Shooting Smartphone, Tablet
Sony went to the Mobile World Congress to launch its first smartphone and first tablet with 4K video capture. The smartphones and tablets run Android and feature 4G LTE.

Study: Hispanics Outpace Others in Social and Mobile Local Shopping Info
According to the study, 23.6 percent of Hispanic consumers reported they use tablets for local shopping, compared with 15.5 percent of non-Hispanics.
