Thunder Audio Adds L-Acoustics K2 System to its Inventory
Fresh back from the 25th annual Pollstar Awards in Nashville, where they were nominated for Sound Company of the Year, Thunder Audio President Tony Villarreal and Vice President Paul Owen announced that they have now officially taken delivery of their company's first L-Acoustics system, the new K2.

FaitalPRO 18HW1070 Subwoofer
FaitalPRO's 18HW1070 ($TBA) features a ferrite 18-inch driver along with a new cast aluminum, eight-spoke frame designed to reduce rear reflections, add structural strength and limit basket weight. The 18HW1070 is also equipped with triple demodulation for lower THD, with an inductance reading of 1.68 mH. Other features include maximum physical excursion of ±30mm, and a motor designed to generate linear magnetic flux that helps sustain acoustic pressure for deeper bass reproduction. A new cooling system is designed to optimize the working temperature of the 100 mm (4-inch) voice coil and lowers power compression.
