LPFM Advocates Seek LP250 Class
Don Schellhardt and Nickolaus Leggett have petitioned the FCC to consider licensing LP250 watt stations, which could range from 101 to 250 watts. They argue, "… that the 100 watt limit is unnecessarily draconian in rural areas where larger coverage areas are possible, and where such larger coverage areas would mitigate the economic challenges faced by rural LPFM operators."

CC Media Now Named in Automation Lawsuit
Clear Channel's parent recently joined the ranks of those sued by DigiMedia over the studio automation equipment its radio stations use.
